Grief in Color is a non-profit brainchild of best friends Whitney Griffin and Shannan Guillory. Through our collaboration, we are able to serve Women of Color by pairing basic coping mechanisms and meditation exercises with constructive outward expression.
Shannan is a licensed funeral director who is passionate about grief education. She writes, speaks, and publishes on her website "i do death." Together, they empower Women of Color to take charge of their own healing process through workshops and events in Los Angeles, CA.
Whitney and Shannan present a sound bath for healing from grief tuned to the key of "F" for the heart energy.
Shannan and Whitney introduce themselves and their mission.
